Large parts or parts made of steel part 1

 Embossing

 

The following products must be marked “hard“:

  • Sheet metal
  • Pipes
  • Forged parts (balls, rings, discs, blanks, flanges, etc.)

Minimum information:

  • Supplier or manufacturer
  • RMA order number and item Material
  • Batch (melt/sample)
  • Seal of the organization accepting certificates in accordance with the EN10204 3.2 standard

The stamp font size should be at least 6 mm.

For balls, the embossing must be at least 60 mm from the edge.

 

Marking/marking of pressurized components

Our orders include a 4-letter code (batch identification (melt/sample combination)) for each order item for batch managed parts, which must be placed on the appropriate component(s) as agreed and cannot be lost.

Once you receive our order, please let us know how many batch/sample combinations you will ship your ordered item in so that we can provide you with additional 4 letter codes if necessary.

If the component(s) are too small to be marked, please place the 4-letter code on the immediate packaging (box, crate, etc.) of the component(s) so that it is clearly visible from the outside.

Furthermore, it is necessary that these 4-letter codes are always clearly visible in the material certificates for the relevant order item, which must be provided to us at the same time as the scope of the order.
